Facebook aims to clean your newsfeed from hoaxes

We can all agree that Facebook is not exactly the most clean social network around. The interface is filled with fake posts, hoaxes and bogus information, something the social giant is not willing to put up with anymore.

Facebook has announced a new project for fighting such hoaxing activity in your newsfeed. This also involves posts that bring annoyance to the general crowd. Users can report posts, but Facebook will also take action when a lot of people delete these.

Opinion: So next time you see a fake post or find something weird going on, simply flag it. Facebook will reduce its distribution and make it better for all users in general. Pretty neat, right?
